Legal & General has launched a benefits hub providing information on group income protection (GIP) features.
It includes details on a range of possible health concerns and allows employers to begin the claims process.
The site provides advice and information to help employers when making a claim on their Legal & General GIP policy.
It includes access to a range of forms, such as absence notification forms and member statements.
It also contains information on how an employee will be referred for rehabilitation and how to support individuals while they are absent from work or considering a return to work.
As well as providing material for employers, the benefits hub gives employees information on what they could expect if they were referred to Legal & General’s rehabilitation team.
Employees are given links to information on a range of health concerns, such as mental health, physical health and surgery advice.
Vanessa Sallows (pictured), benefits and governance director at Legal & General, said the hub has a vital role to play in making sure customers understand the claims journey.
