• Preferred route Nine out of 10 intermediaries now use the internet to research products and obtain quotes for protection business, according to a survey of IFAs conducted by Swiss Life (UK). Six out of 10 IFAs said portals would be their preferred route for obtaining single company quotes. Nearly 900 IFAs took part in the survey, which found that new business submission is the process most want to carry out online.
