I read the new products feature contained within your February edition with interest. However, I believe there are a number of remarks that should be made in response to the analysis you ran on the new International Healthcare Protection Plan which is provided by Crispin Speers & Partners.
Firstly, the company has set up a dedicated helpline for this particular product and agents interested may contact us on 01737 379330.
Secondly, some of the benefits and coverage were incorrectly stated with regard to levels one, two and three of the International Healthcare Protection Plan.
As a result, agents should review each of these levels when discussing the programme with prospective customers – particularly as these do vary.
Thirdly, these policies do not attract IPT as they are applicable to non residents.
Finally, a full complaints procedure is contained within the attached policy documentation. It appears not to have reviewed as part of your feature – but this documentation does provide details of the coverage, terms and conditions, all in clear and plain English.
However, we are always receptive to feedback and we would be delighted to receive comments, ideas or suggestions from your readers as to how they would like to see any element of our documentation improved for use in the future.
While writing, may I also comment on the excellent reception that I believe your magazine is receiving and reiterate that we at CSP would be delighted to help you in anyway we can.
