Voting is now open in the Provider categories for this year’s Health Insurance Awards.
Intermediaries working in the relevant areas of the health insurance and protection industry can log on to www.hi-mag.com/ providervote to complete the simple voting form. The whole process should take a matter of minutes and by voting intermediaries will be entered into a prize draw to win a special prize.
Categories, which cover both the group and individual markets, include private medical insurance, cash plans, critical illness, income protection and others. Product innovation is also recognised in a separate category so intermediaries will need to think about which new launch has impressed them and their clients the most over the year.
By voting, intermediaries have the opportunity to reward those providers which they believe have gone out of their way to help the health insurance and protection market through a challenging past year. It is important now more than ever for the health insurance sector to celebrate what it achieves; by voting intermediaries are demonstrating their commitment to the future success of their industry.
Intermediaries can also be sure that the Awards is an accurate and independent reflection of intermediary sentiment as Deloitte, the actuarial and consulting firm, has once again agreed to oversee the voting process.
This year’s event is being headline sponsored by Simplyhealth, the parent company of HSA, BCWA, LHF Health Plans, HealthSure, Medisure and Remedi, to celebrate the coming together of the trading divisions under the Simplyhealth brand.
That means the night is sure to be one to remember, with top class entertainment and food and drink being served up at the prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane. The event is being held on Thursday, October 22nd so intermediaries and providers wishing to attend should make sure they have the date in their diary now.
In the meantime, look out in future issues for news of who we have chosen as celebrity presenter for this year’s awards – and they have some act to follow, after an outlandish performance at last year’s event by TV celebrity Justin Lee Collins.
We will soon be asking for entries from advisers in the Intermediary Awards. We will also soon have some news on this year’s judges for the Intermediary categories, so advisers are asked to look out for that too.
Last year’s Awards evening attracted around 900 industry professionals, so be sure that you don’t miss out this year. Table reservation information is available by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
