Guardian Financial Services has launched an interactive website in a bid to boost electronic commerce between IFAs and consumers.
Created to quash the threat of direct insurance and the time-consuming application process, technology product manager, marketing, Stephen Wynne-Jones said: “It is designed to pick up the pace without cutting out the IFA.”
The Origo approved site is equipped with a IFA locator complete with email links, steering the consumer towards local registered intermediaries.
Linked to the site is an exclusive extranet website for registered IFAs which offers advice while simplifying and accelerating the completion of applications. Underwriting questionnaires and application forms can be downloaded and printed out. The section is password sensitive and includes designs for business development, recommendation letters and marketing plans.
Also incorporated are tables displaying primary products and compatible bolt-on cover options. “It allows IFAs to shape products so they can consolidate and maintain competitiveness,” said employee benefits communications manager Russ Brady.
The site is available now at www.guardianfs.co.uk
