Expansion plans at Secure Health,

28th March 2011

Secure Health, the intermediary which operates a direct sales force to sell a range of health insurance products, is set on a major expansion drive with the launch of two new products.

The two new products are an insured dental plan from Guardian and a PMI product from Legal & General.

The dental plan comprises two options, Crown and Crown Plus, and are available on an individual or corporate basis. Premiums are £7.50 a month. Rose said the product would be among the most competitive in the market.

The deal with Legal & General will be a complementary range to Secure Health’s existing PMI products with Guardian.

“We fit in with L&G’s plans,” said Rose, “and these exclusive products have a range of benefits including no hospital banding” Premiums start from £9.95 a month for the budget product.

The plans were announced at a conference which included an awards ceremony for Secure Health’s top performers.

In a rallying call to the sales force, Rose told them they were on target to become market leaders in the intermediary sector – adding that they were set to become the highest earning sales force in medical insurance history.

He described Secure Health as “a company run by sales people for the benefit of sales people,” and promised increasing benefits for representatives.
