Unum Dental has launched an employee enrolment portal which aims to fast, simple, online access to dental cover.
Figures suggest 80% of employees in the private sector agree that having dental cover would make them more likely to visit the dentist for the recommended twice a year check-up.
However, Unum said that for organisations that do not have access to a flexible benefits platform, it can be difficult to ensure employees are accessing the benefits that are on offer.
Once enrolled, employee members can will have access to Unum Dental’s fast online claims service.
The provider said members will also have fewer exclusions when compared with other leading corporate dental providers.
Andrew Bower, managing director at Unum Dental, said the solution provides employers with the opportunity to provide the most popular voluntary health benefit at no cost to themselves and without the administration burden voluntary benefit schemes typically carried in the past.
“This new portal further enhances our digital offering, allowing us to create a completely online experience that is both user-friendly and significantly reduces our paper footprint,” he added.
