Healthcare provider Bupa has bought nine more dental practices, taking the number of acquisitions so far this year to 14.
Stretching from Southampton to Northern Ireland, the latest acquisitions include Morrison Shenfine Holdings, which owns four practices across the North of England.
Other practices include MyDental in Ballsbridge, Dublin; Dental Excellence in Harewood, Leeds, Dental Confidence in Southampton; Martin Dental Care in Shawlands, Glasgow; and Lodwig Villa Dental Practice in Bangor.
Catherine Barton, general manager for Bupa Dental Care, said as part of the Bupa family the acquired practices will be able to broaden their referral network and also benefit from a range of support functions, such as clinical governance and support, marketing, HR and IT.
“With these benefits, we’re confident that the practices will be able to grow, whilst maintaining their commitment to top quality patient care,” she stated.
In 2017, Bupa acquired Oasis Dental Care, and now operates over 470 dental practices across the UK and Republic of Ireland.
It also bought Avsan Holdings with 16 practices across Scotland and England, as well as Metrodental, adding two premium practices in the City of London.
