BUPA’s Health Care Adviser Service (HCAS) is shedding over 40% of its commission-only sales force.
As a result, 18 HCAS area management positions will be slashed. This “restructuring” will enable the new team of 180 core HCAS advisers to work more closely with other sales teams, including the intermediary sales force, and increase cost effectiveness.
Andrew Briscoe, BUPA’s sales director said the shake-up was to improve BUPA’s customer service and efficiency. He added: “This move reflects the increasing demand from our customers for access to our services through a wide range of distribution channels.”
