BUPA has been shortlisted for award in a competition which aims to recognise the best of Corporate art.
The Art and Work Awards, run by International Art Consultants and sponsored by Flemings, aims to promote the use of art in settings everyday, “working” settings such as offices, hospitals and schools.
BUPA’s art collection is based in its headquarters in London’s Bloomsbury and was started in 1995.
Works of art have been positioned in five sites in BUPA house.
The insurer supports living artists working in the UK and its collection includes the striking light sculpture by Bill Cuthbert (above).
Peter Harris, the managing director of International Art Consultants, said: “As well as enhancing a company’s corporate image, art can bring enjoyment and discussion to the workplace.”
