BUPA has launched an immediate needs long term care (LTC) product in response to customer demand.
Immediate Care is a single premium product aimed at people who have failed at least one of the activities of daily living.
BUPA’s care advisory service, which is already available on its pre-funded LTC, is included in the new product.
This offers customers services which range from helping to find the most appropriate care, to ensuring that the care received is satisfactory.
“Customer demand has been huge: our care homes receive a lot of enquiries for an immediate needs product. But we decided it was prudent to wait until now to launch.” BUPA’s sales development manager Sue Wilkinson explained.
BUPA has also revisited its group protection range, launching new critical illness and income protection products, and adding group life cover to its range.
